PERSONA Clay & Glass studies

Glass and clay are brought together as two closely related materials in different states.

A hand-blown glass form defines the inner volume, while the outer layer is built from hand-formed clay applied after the glass has cooled. The materials do not merge but remain clearly separated.

The clay acts as an external shell following the form without fully describing it, creating a tension between the inner structure and its outer boundary.

Within the Persona project, this series shifts from transformation within a single material to a relationship between distinct layers, where structure and surface no longer coincide.
