PERSONA smoke sculptural vessels

This series works with glass in its molten state, where form emerges through the behaviour of the material rather than being imposed.

The pieces are based on a combination of clear and smoke-tinted glass, where density, colour and transparency shift within a single volume. These variations are not applied but occur directly through the process.

Each work begins from a simple form that is gradually displaced as the glass is gathered and reshaped. The original structure remains present, but no longer defines the object.

Smoke Studies mark an early phase of the Persona project, where “persona” appears as a material condition — a moment when the object moves beyond its function and begins to exist on its own.
